Contemporary web design on a budget.
Jet Towel approached Oyster, a web design agency based in Hertfordshire, to help with their website. Our challenge was to develop a clean, contemporary and cost-effective responsive website for Mitsubishi Electric Jet Towel to promote its range of top performing electric Jet Towel hand dryers. The website needed to be easy to navigate, fresh and modern and feature multiple calls to action. At the same time the design aesthetic of the finished site would need to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with well-known competitor brands.
Solution
To position Mitsubishi Electric Jet Towel as a compelling challenger to more well-known brands.
The hand dryer industry is extremely crowded with Mitsubishi Electric facing many competitors. Therefore, their new website needed to stand out from the crowd and truly engage with potential customers. We developed several concepts for Mitsubishi Electric to choose from which were carefully developed utilising the Mitsubishi Electric brand book, brand colours, bright icons and fresh imagery. It was extremely important to create a web design that respected the Jet Towel products, portraying them in a clean, polished and aesthetically pleasing environment, while also being easy to navigate. Once the client was happy with the chosen concept, we worked closely with our developer to ensure the site went live in a timely fashion.
We’re delighted with the new-look website that Oyster has designed for us. The old Jet Towel site was cluttered and difficult to navigate without a clear call to action and it’s fair to say that the new one is the polar opposite. It’s clean and efficient – very much in keeping with the Jet Towel product range – plus it’s extremely user-friendly.

As thoroughly crafted behind the scenes as it is upfront, the project was born out of meticulous competitor research and a desire to refresh the Jet Towel brand. The new site delivers this with a cleaner, brighter, more modern look, the simplicity of which belies the detail and complexity of the end result.
