The Entertainment, Attractions, and Gaming Exhibition (EAG) is an event held at the Excel London, hosted by Swan Events. The event organisers saw issues arising within the industry they support and were concerned about the future of the exhibition. They support the coin-operated amusements industry which is seeing a dramatic decline due to the digitalisation of games.
Swan Events came to Oyster to rebrand their entire event to entice news markets but keep a traditional feel for their existing exhibitors. We noticed very quickly their brand was very confusing. So, we began by renaming the event to give clarity to the audiences they are targeting. We also refreshed and modernized its website and the logo and introduced a vibrant colour palette.
We wanted to entice different markets to hire an exhibition stand or to visit the tradeshow. Oyster also supported Swan Events on developing both an organic and paid social media strategy to reach new audiences. Also, we developed a full suite of adverts for both print and digital trade press and a program of press releases.
Our integrated marketing strategy helped the exhibition immensely and was highly successful. We saw an influx of new visitors and exhibitors which was the ultimate goal for EAG.
