To create a captivating brand and property marketing materials that would attract potential investors and community-oriented landowners
We were approached by the directors of Nature’s Way Homes, a community interest company based in Hertfordshire, to create a brand for their exciting new venture.
Their mission is to build high-quality, sustainable and affordable homes that will be set in natural environments to give low-income households a secure place to live. Being a start-up venture, Nature’s Way Homes did not have a huge marketing budget, and, with a long list of requirements, this was our biggest challenge.
Branding that effectively communicates the core values of Nature’s Way Homes and appeals to the target audience
Once we had taken time to understand the aims and objectives of Nature’s Way Homes, we began the project by coming up with a range of logos emphasising nature, affordability and the environment, three of the key attributes that the directors wished to communicate.
The chosen logo is simple and understated, reflecting the affordability of the homes. The colour green was adopted to communicate the environment, while leaf icons were used to replace the apostrophe, giving a visual clue to the natural setting of the homes. Once this concept was chosen, we developed the strapline “Affordable Homes, Naturally” to highlight the brand values.
We then developed the brand by creating core stationery items, including a letterhead, website landing page and business cards. We also created a striking 4-page A4 brochure for the directors to take to meetings with interested stakeholders and landowners. As the budget was tight, it was not possible to develop a full website for the client, so we created an informative 1-page website to give the company an online presence. We also set up social media pages on Facebook and LinkedIn to boost the company’s online profile and increase overall brand awareness in preparation for the client to start posting content.
A strong brand for Nature’s Way Homes and a range of eye-catching marketing materials to launch the company
We successfully created a compelling brand identity for Nature’s Way Homes which was highly appropriate for a company providing sustainable living and environmentally friendly housing. Along with a strong brand image, Nature’s Way Homes now has all the property marketing collateral necessary to begin marketing the brand, including 2 social media platforms, 1 marketing brochure, 1 set of stationery items and 1 web page for people interested in the project. This was all delivered on time and within the budget.
